Pentagon

DC Capital Striders Running Group is seeking volunteers who wish to help at the Army Ten Miler race on October 9, 2011.

The Job

Start Line Seed Monitors - each volunteer will wear a color coded vest and hats to ensure that runners are in the correct wave and corral.  The corrals are the same color as the bibs of the runners and there will be balloon arches that match.

When and where

All volunteers will need to report at 6:00 am in the North Pentagon Parking Lot.

Metro will not be running early on this day - volunteers will need to get to location, via bike, and/or car.  Parking will be available in the Pentagon City Mall lot.  There will also be an early morning shuttle bus from near the location of the parking area to go to the North Pentagon Parking Lot or a walk of less than a mile.

  3. Click on Click here to register as a Volunteer
  4. Fill out necessary information
  5. Pay careful attention to a box listed as "Are you volunteering with an organization sponsoring a volunteer station." Scroll down and select either DCCSRG Team Blue, DCCSRG Team Red, or DCCSRG Team White.
  6. Agree to waiver
