Hike it up Blue!

DC Capital Striders' member Lou Brooks for the 4th year in a row is organizing the Hike it up Blue event in Recognition of International Autism Awareness Day, and in Honor of his Daughter Aly,

The Event/Details:

What:  A hike up to Hawksbill Summit, the highest point in Shanandoah National Park and Light it up Blue!!!

When: Saturday, April 21, 2018

Location:  Either meet in the White Oak Canyon Parking Lot at 2:30 pm - http://www.hikingupward.com/SNP/WhiteOakCedarRun/

OR

Skyline Drive - Upper Hawskbill parking lot - 7:30 PM - https://www.nps.gov/shen/hawksbill.htm

Times: 

2:30 pm OR 7:30 PM

Cost: There is no cost to participate other than the Shanandoah National Park entrance fee, but all participants are required to register to participate. 

Donations: 

Any donations from participants or sponsors will help provide opportunities for athletes with disabilities to participate in endurance events across the country and also to benefit our local Piedmont TOPSoccer program for athletes with disabilities.
