1. Tell us a little bit about yourself? Where are you from? How long in the area and what you do?
I'm from a small town in upstate New York. I started running in middle school and ran through college for a tiny, D3 school in Wisconsin. I've lived in the area for a year and I work in retail.
2. Tell us how you found out about DC Capital Striders and which of the group runs do you mainly attend?
I found out about DCCS on my first week in DC. One of my coworkers was wearing a DCCS shirt as he biked in one morning. He and I are about the same pace and have been running together ever since. I primarily attend the Monday/Thursday Smithsonian group and the Wednesday Bloomingdale group runs.
3. Do you have any running or racing accomplishments that you are proud of or something you are training for?
I'm always considering an upcoming race, but I mostly train so my friends don't leave me in the dust. I'm hoping for a good marathon this fall and my first Boston next spring.
