DC Capital Striders Running Group was created to bring together runners of all paces and endurance levels in a welcoming and safe atmosphere where they could improve their health and make new friends along the way. The running group organizes non-competitive group runs, social events, charity events, and volunteer opportunities each year. The running group offers both road and trail options, mornings and evenings throughout the week. Established in 2006, the group has runners across the District, Virginia, and Maryland.
